Welcome to the home of the San Marcos ARC (San Marcos, CA). Thanks for visiting, and see our page on . COMMUNICATIONS SUPPORT FOR EVENTS Are you involved in a race, parade or other community event? Our club can volunteer for radio and communication support for your event. We have supported bike races, city parades, volunteer clean-ups, etc. Our highly trained radio operators give you extra eyes and ears. We have worked in conjunction with local law enforcement and fire departments, as well as senior sheriff and fire volunteers. Club Members work Golden Guardian Exercise/Drill SMARC members (who are also on San Marcos CERT and Metronet) participated in Golden Guardian 2010 as an interface between San Marcos EOC and the "public" providing messaging on Ham radio to support the City's deployment of its emergency AM1610 radio station.
